Amanda Sherck, DVM

Dr. Amanda Sherck attended Baker University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2003.  She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 2009 before completing a one-year internship at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Snohomish, Washington.

Dr. Amanda grew up in rural Kansas with dogs, cats, and horses.  She has worked in small animal general practice in Texas and Kansas and moved to Nebraska in the fall of 2022. Dr. Amanda has a special interest in wellness, preventive care, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic ultrasound. She loves the energy and the mission of Capital Humane Society.

In her spare time, Dr. Amanda loves gardening and riding horses.
