Adoption Information

To keep our staff and customers as safe as possible during the pandemic, all adoptions are by appointment only and interactions end 30 minutes before closing. The Pieloch Pet Adoption Center hours are Monday from 3:00 - 7:30pm, Tuesday-Friday from 11:30 am-7:30 pm, and Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 am-5:30 pm. Please call us at (402) 441-4488 Ext. 1 to schedule an appointment.

Our adoption fees don’t come close to covering all the costs of caring for the thousands of homeless pets that come to us each year. Generous donations make up the difference and allow us to continue providing vital services and second chances. Thank you for your support!

Choosing to adopt a homeless pet from Capital Humane Society is a kind act. We appreciate your willingness to offer a lifetime of love to an animal in need.
