Veterinary Assistant - Full Time
NO WEEKENDS REQUIRED
Capital Humane Society is seeking candidates for a Veterinary Assistant position. This position assists with surgery, routine health examinations and health maintenance for all animals sheltered. This position will primarily work at the Admissions & Assessment Center and the Stransky Veterinary Center but may spend some time at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center. Requirements:
- Good Communication Skills
- Valid Nebraska Drivers License
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is desirable.
Position is full-time, 40 hours per week with benefits. Pay is dependent upon experience. Benefits include health, life, dental, vision, and disability insurance, vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, employee assistance program, and 401K retirement plan (after one year of employment).
