Adoption Counselor - Temporary Position
Please note this a full-time (40 hours/week) temporary position through August 31st, 2024.
Capital Humane Society is seeking candidates for an Adoption Counselor position. Adoption Counselors are generally responsible for helping the public select new pets and promoting responsible pet ownership, providing excellent customer service both in-person and over phone, ensuring cages and kennels are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, and assisting with general building cleanliness. This position primarily works at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center but could spend time at both facilities, as needed. The full job description is available on the Employment Openings page. Requirements:
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to work weekends & evenings
- Valid Nebraska Drivers License
Position is full-time, 40 hours per week, and pays $15.00/hour.
