Sierra Kurth
Sierra is the Fundraising & Grants Coordinator for Capital Humane Society. She has been with the shelter since 2020 when she started as the Executive Assistant. Since then she has worn multiple hats while helping the Admin Team. She is originally from Western Nebraska but moved to Lincoln, where she graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with her Bachelors in Animal Science.
When Sierra isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 3 month old son, Kolter. She loves to travel and spend time off the grid, camping. She has two cats, Lola (CHS Alumni) & Oliver, two dogs, Grizz & Lily (CHS Alumni) and a turtle named Squirt. There are many reasons she loves working in the Animal Welfare industry but she especially finds joy in all of Capital Humane Society’s success/rehabilitation stories.
