Adoptions at our Pieloch Pet Adoption Center will be by appointment only to follow recommendations from local and national health authorities regarding social distancing. To make an appointment please call our Pieloch Pet Adoption Center at (402) 441-4488 ext 1.

Tails 'N Trails Pet Walk & Festival

You are invited to Capital Humane Society's biggest party for people and pets! Everyone is welcome, with or without a pet!

Join us on Saturday, May 18th, as we walk, run, eat, play, and have fun with our furry friends. The event will be at the Fallbrook Town Center.

Early Registration (through April 20th):

Individuals - $20.00

Families & Couples - $30.00

Regular Registration (after April 20th):

Individuals - $25.00

Families & Couples - $35.00

All registered attendees receive a Tails 'N Trails Pet Walk bag.

Register early! You can start a fundraising team or fundraise on your own. New for this year's event are prizes for raising money including individual and team prizes! The more you raise, the more prizes you win! Prizes start once you raise $50!

The day includes a half mile and full mile walk, live music, food trucks, our Flea-less Market full of vendors, activities for you and your canine friend, raffle items, a 50/50 raffle, demonstrations, contests, adoption pets, and more! There are many activities for you and your pets including bobbing for hot dogs, human vs. dog peanut butter licking contest, mutt mutt golf, and more!

Help us reach our goal of $50,000! Ask your friends, family, and coworkers to come together and help the animals in our community. Funds raised will benefit a number of programs including the Foster Care Program, Humane Education, Adoption Program, and the Low-Cost Feline Spay/Neuter Program.
