Jenny Stager

Director of Operations - Admissions & Assessment Center

Jenny is the Director of Operations of the Admissions and Assessment Center.  She returned to the Capital Humane Society in June of 2018.  She previously worked at the shelter from 2001-2008.  She worked at the Capital Humane Society as Animal Care staff, Lead Animal Care staff, Office Manager, Director of Volunteers and Education, and Shelter Manager.  

She left the Capital Humane Society to go back to school.  She ended up receiving her Medical Coding Diploma in May of 2017.  She started out her career as a Medical Coder and ended up getting a opportunity to return to Capital Humane Society.

Jenny shares her home with her husband Corey of 22 years.  They have two pugs, Penny and Paco, and a puggle named Preston.  A couple months after coming back to the Capital Humane Society they added to their family by adopting 3 rabbits; Pearl, Polly, and Penelope.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her animals and watching WWE with her husband, Corey.   She also loves fostering animals for the Capital Humane Society, she enjoys fostering mother dogs & their puppies.
