Licensed Veterinary Technician - PT Position
Capital Humane Society is seeking candidates for a Part-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician position. This position performs health assessments, provides health maintenance for all animals sheltered at Capital Humane Society, and assists with surgery. Other duties involve supervising volunteers in the veterinary department and cleaning veterinary areas. This position primarily works at the Admissions & Assessment Center but does spend time at both facilities.
Requirements:
- Good Communication Skills
- Professional Certification
- Valid Nebraska Driver's License or ability to obtain such within 90 days of employment
Position is part-time with no weekend or evening hours and flexible scheduling to be discussed during interview process. Capital Humane Society pays for continuing education and license fees for this position.
