The Capital Humane Society offers a variety of Educational Opportunities:
The Capital Humane Society has adopted over 350 classrooms in the "Adopt A Classroom" program sponsored by NAHEE (National Association of Humane and Environmental Education). Each classroom adopted receives issues of KIND NEWS each month. The newspaper focuses on animal kindness and welfare, provides an environmental message and an anti-drug message. For more information on having your favorite teacher or classroom become "adopted" call 441-4483.
