Volunteers are very important to the Capital Humane Society! Each person who volunteers at the shelter is providing a valuable service for the animals in our community. Providing a clean, healthy, safe and secure environment is important to the welfare of each animal!

Volunteers should be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers between the ages of 13-15 years of age may be able to volunteer if supervised by an adult. Experience is not required. We ask that individuals be self motivated and work with very little supervision.
