Jennifer Schall, Director of Fundraising & Development

Jennifer Schall is the Director of Fundraising and Development at Capital Humane Society. She joined the staff in July of 2016. Prior to this Jennifer worked with military youth and families to provide resources, referrals and events to help support them through the deployment cycle. With over 8 years of hands on fundraising experience she hopes to bring a lot of new ideas to this job. Some of her experience includes over 3 years with the Girl Scouts and 2 1/2 years with the University of Nebraska Foundation fundraising in Central Nebraska.

She is from Shawnee Kansas originally, but her family moved to Lincoln the summer before she started college. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Institutional Development, with a minor in Marketing from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Jennifer's husband, Ben is in the Nebraska Army National Guard and works full time for them out at the Air Base in the Joint Operations Center. They have 2 kids at home, Carley who is 3 and Collin who just turned one. Their furry kids are Rio, a 7 year old Great Dane and Gus-Gus a 12 year old Shih Tzu Poodle mix.

Outside of work Jennifer enjoys working out, camping, going on walks and playing with the kids and dogs in the yard. Her favorite part of CHS is seeing photos, reading, and hearing stories of successful adoptions. She loves all her furry kids at the shelter!
